For this post I thought of giving a review of one of the coolest shows in Discovery Channel, Future Weapons with Mach.
This was one of the shows that I started watching recently. The very first show caught my attention and I was all ears ( n eyes ). May be it was my curiocity for latest technology but I found it really interesting. One major factor that adds to the shows credit is the host Mach Machowicz.
Mach was a former US Navy SEAL with a 10 year experience.The Discovery Channel Website tells me that during his service tenure, he participated in numerous tactical operations with SEAL Team ONE and TWO. While at SEAL Team TWO he was attached to the training cadre as the Leading Petty Officer of Land, Mountain and Arctic Warfare.
His real interest and curiosity for the developing military technology and his disappointment that the technology was not available during his time all adds to the shows greatness.
And now something about the show.
The show features the products of latest military technology from around the world and the future prospects. It was really heartening to know about what latest technology can give us. Some of the weapons shown are unbelievably powerful and reliable. I have mentioned about a UAV in one of my posts Fighting Battles with Joysticks. There were episodes which featured all terrain tanks, future aircrafts, all purpose tow vehicles, lots and lots of highly powerful guns, latest barbwire cutters and lots more.
I found this show really informative and interesting and recommend this to your list of much watch shows on TV.
